Lyceum is the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s literary and fine arts journal. We publish a journal in the Fall and Winter semesters, and host events promoting arts and culture throughout the year.

Lyceum is named after the educational institution of ancient Greece, a locus of creative intellectual thought and talent. Our modern Lyceum, as a journal and organization, operates as the ambassador of arts and culture to the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus and community. We not only publish our journal, but host art and writing contests, invite guest speakers involved in the creative arts, and help writers and artists on our campus express themselves and find new creative opportunities.

Lyceum is managed by an editorial board comprised of UM-Dearborn students. We are also staffed by interested students who help create the journal and organize our events.
